Jan 7 Ski Report January 7, 2021/in News /by Ellen Chandler A milder night means a little less grooming, and the need for a lighter touch both for the grooming team AND skiers. We (all of us) are making the most of approx. 3 to 8″ of snow, and there are now thin spots and a few places where the waterbars are either open or the depression in the trail is deeper. That said, 50K have been groomed in the last two days and the overnight (and into the morning) team will have 31 newly groomed for today. If you are using a classic touring ski you will want to include more than just the “freshies” in your tour for today.
