March 29

Fresh snow is falling, projected to continue through late morning.  It’s a nice dry snow that is grooming out well. 3″ is not sufficient to open additional terrain but the trails that are groomed are coming out really nicely.

The Wentworth snow has a machine-made snow base;  2 classic tracks on the outside and a skate lane in the center. Prospect is being groomed first; the Village will be groomed starting around 7 am.

Tomorrow (Sunday, March 30) will be the final day of regular operation.  After Sunday you may continue ski on the trails at Prospect, as well as North Hall Trail and trails with access through that trailhead.  The golf course skiing will be open for a few more days, too.  After March 30 the Center will be open during hours when people are working in the office.

Tickets are $25.

Lessons are offered on a reservation/availability basis. If you would like a lesson for Saturday please call today.

Season passes for next winter are on sale at the lowest price of the season – now through March 31. If you liked being able to get on snow in December and January, when natural snow was scarce, season pass sales are what let us invest resources in season-extending actions like snowmaking, early and late season grooming and the year-in/year-out summer-time trail work that make trails resilient!

Tonight there will be a Potluck Dinner and slideshow program on ski travel to Norway. Please RSVP by phone so we can plan with chairs, etc.  Ideally you will bring your own plates, flatware, etc. but we will have some for those who are not able to. 5 to 7, if you are bringing appetizers please arrive by 4:30 for early socializing.

There are abundant weather forecast options; this is one that we use here – it is generally accurate, and it shows trends in an understandable way: National Weather Service
