Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Jackson Ski Touring Foundation!
As a community based nonprofit organization, volunteers are an essential part of our success and operations.
The volunteer opportunities with JSTF are abundant and rewarding. Check out our opportunities below.
JSTF hosts many race and other events throughout the season. The White Mountain Classic 30K, Jackson Jaunt Citizen 5k &10k Race, Jen’s Friends Caner Foundation fundraising snowshoe event, just to name a few.
Volunteer opportunities on this team, range from running the feed stations, timing/finish line assistances, parking attendant, course & road crossing security, registration, soliciting sponsorships for events, event break-down and photography and video. As an events volunteer you will receive a complimentary brown bag lunch on the day of the event, JSTF volunteer member hat, and a voucher for a day pass to use or give to a friend. Just our small way of saying “we can’t thank you enough”.
When volunteering for trail maintenance and project days, there is something for everyone. Our specific projects vary from year to year, but often involve painting, minor construction projects, building bridges, clearing brush and more. This is fun work, a great way to get to know the JSTF staff, board members and fellow ski enthusiasts. When you volunteer on trail project days you will receive a JSTF T-shirt and a social lunch afterward.
To find out when our next project day is check out our events calendar.
