Executive Director – Ellen Chandler
Ellen Chandler brings decades of Nordic skiing, both racing and recreational, and ski area management experience to Jackson XC. She works on the day-to-day operations and long range planning she looks forward to meeting fellow enthusiasts around town and on the trails.
Rental Shop Manager – Mardi Freeman
Mardi is a true local being born and raised here in Jackson Village. Mardi and her team make sure that all of our rental equipment is in top notch condition, all waxed and ready to go for you. JSTF has a wide array of skis to choose from and she and her staff will help you choose the ski that is right for you.
Ski Patrol Director – Karen Clarey
JSTF is a registered patrol with the National Ski Patrol System. Though we hope you do not need to take advantage of her medical response skills, you can be rest assured knowing that Karen and her staff are trained to this high national standard. She is on the trail most of time ready to answer any questions you may have and ensuring the trails are free of hazards. Karen also oversees our volunteer ski patroller and trail ambassador programs. If you are interested in these volunteer opportunities, just ask for Karen.
Ski School Director – Connie Kinsman
JSTF has one of the most comprehensive cross country ski school programs in the valley with all of our instructors being PSIA Certified. From our daily beginner classic and skate lessons, to advanced technique improvement lessons, Connie is the person behind the scenes making it all happen. She has been managing the JSTF ski school for 10 years and when she is not teaching, you’ll find her on the trails.
Lead Snowshoe Guide – Peter Minnich
A local author, seasoned naturalist, hiker and snowshoe guru. Peter and his assistant Rob are full of knowledge about the surrounding geology, wildlife and forest ecosystems and will keep you laughing while learning a thing or two about the natural world of the White Mountains. A snowshoe tour with Peter and Rob here at Jackson Ski Touring is an experience not to be missed.
